Stored only in your browser
Your session plan, your tasting log and your notes are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. Your notes are never sent to us. Storing this on your device is strictly necessary for the guide to work (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can remove it at any time by clearing the site data for btf.tealytics.app in your browser.
The recap image is drawn on your device. A plan link contains only the numbers of the sessions in it, and goes only where you send it.
What the guide sends, without an identifier
To show exhibitors and the festival organizers what visitors liked, the guide sends the following to our servers:
- For each tea you log: the booth, the tea's name, type, style, origin, harvest year and season, its price, the flavors you picked, your rating, and whether you marked it to buy.
- For each session you star: the session, and whether the star is on.
Each entry carries a random ID created for that entry alone, so that a later edit replaces it. It carries no account, no device ID and no cookie, and we do not store your IP address with it. Times are stored rounded down to the full hour. We cannot link an entry to you or to your other entries. When you delete a tasting in the guide, its contents are erased on our servers.
Hosting
The guide is hosted by Vercel Inc. (US). The entries above are stored with Convex, Inc. in the EU (Ireland). As with any website, these providers process your IP address in order to deliver the page and receive the guide's requests; the guide does not read or store it. Where data reaches the US, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering the guide (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Use and retention
We use the entries only for aggregated statistics, for example the most logged teas at a booth or how many visitors starred a session, and we may share these statistics with exhibitors and the festival organizers. We delete the individual entries by 31 March 2027.
Your rights
Because the entries do not identify you, we cannot find, export or delete yours on request (Art. 11 GDPR); you can delete a tasting yourself in the guide. If you write to us, we use your message only to answer it. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.
Links to other sites
The guide links to the festival, exhibitors, ticket sellers and tealytics.app. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Your browser does not tell those sites which page you came from.
Datenschutz

Was der Guide sendet (ohne Kennung)
